My Career

I chose to study architecture because i want to contribuite in the development to the city and through design and planification create a city more confortable where the people can live quietly and comfortably with access to everything necessary for their well-being. Also because from a young age i was interested for the architecture of my city, the diferents materials, styles, forms, concepts of the buildings created in me a great curiosity. 

I knew very few things really about architecture and i say this because  what I knew was not quite right, for example i knew that the career of architecture mixed the arts with the maths, but this depend to the focus of the faculty. Anyway some things like make models, the desing of the diferents building, the structure of the building, the urbanism of the city and the history of the architecture they were topics that I knew I was going to like. What I did not know was that I was going to sleep very little and that the career would consume all my time, it is more I thought it was a relaxed career compared to engineering but I dare to say that it is much more demanding.

I study in Universidad de Chile because always i knew that this university is a one of the best in the area of the urbanism and architecture, its was more a dream because i dont belived that i can study architecture in this univesity because the PSU score for to enter to the career was quite high. Well, i have admit that i wanted to study architecture in the Univesidad Catolica but the score of the PSU did not reach me jajaja:(, but i very happy in FAU and I think it was the best thing that could have happened to me!. The environment, my colleagues, the professors and the trajectory of the career in this university make me feel calm today studying what I like.
